What Adele Song is Gwyneth Paltrow Diligently Preparing to Sing on Glee?

I have some rather exciting news to share. After weeks of rigorous 5 hour a day workouts with fitness guru Tracy Anderson, voice training with legendary vocal coach and dear family friend Seth Rudetsky and a dedicated macrobiotic diet of miso and watercress soup, screen siren Gwyneth Paltrow is finally ready to tackle the musical stylings of some peasant girl named Adeal? Adalee? Oh, sorry, my assistant has informed me that apparently, it's called 'Adele.' My apologies. I must admit, I usually only listen to African tribal choirs and isolationist and organic ambient music (yes, even my music is organic!).

Paltrow, who is known for her Academy Award winning role in Shakespeare in Love, as well as other cinematic masterpieces such as Emma, Great Expectations and Shallow Hal, is currently moonlighting on a television series entitled Glee. As I do not own a television set, I called upon my darling friend Tinsley Mortimer to confirm. She says that although she has not seen the program either she did run into one of the shows stars, a "Leah Michelle," at Tara Palmer-Tomkinson's Labor Day for the Labour Party luncheon this past summer. Now, I'm not one to gossip but Tinsley tells me that the diminutive young ingenue was simply binging herself on the vegan canapes (she ate 4 of them, can you believe it?!?!?!) and downing the Dom like it was Pellegrino sparkling water! With manners like that it's no wonder she is on network TV.

But back to my dear friend Gwyneth. In honor of her performance, I will be holding a champagne and caviar toast on my pied-à-terre in Gramercy Park. I do hope that you don't think that you are allowed to join us.

Kiss kiss,

Glee 2.16 Original Song

Glee's Dalton Academy Warblers to Release Album in April

Blaine and the Dalton Academy Warblers are releasing a Glee album of their own in April, a rep for the show confirms to TVGuide.com.

Darren Criss announced the news on Live with Regis and Kelly Monday morning.

So far this season, the Warblers have sung Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream," Train's "Hey, Soul Sister," Destiny's Child's "Bills, Bills, Bills," Robin Thicke's "When I Get You Alone" and Wings' "Silly Love Songs." In upcoming episodes — spoiler alert — they'll cover Neon Trees' "Animal" and Maroon 5's "Misery." During Regionals, they'll sing this underdog anthem by Pink.

The cover of "Teenage Dream" by Criss and the Warblers (voiced by real-life a cappella group the Beelzebubs from Tufts University) hit No. 8 on Billboard's Hot 100 in November.

Criss was made a series regular last year, and will go on tour with the cast this summer.

"It's fun being a Warbler," Criss, who also performed "Silly Love Songs," told the hosts. "It's kind of like being on our own little show. Everyone always asks me, 'How's the cast?' and they're lovely and I love the main kids at McKinley. But the fact is I actually spend most of my time away at another school, like we're in our own little TV show."

Glee gets rights to Lady Gaga's "Born This Way"

You think that would be enough but I have even more redonkulous news: Lady Gaga just this week gave the Glee producers clearance for tackling her highly anticipated new single, “Born This Way,” which hasn’t even dropped yet! Murphy reveals that the song will be used in a March or April episode and will be centered around closeted gay bully Karofsky (Max Adler). “I love that that song is anthem,” says Murphy. “This show is by nature optimistic and I think a character like Karofsky could turn to booze or pills or alcohol and kill themselves or do something dark. But I also love Max and I love that character and I sorta want that character to have a happy ending. So I don’t really know what that’s going to be, but I do know we’re going to do a whole episode that’s about that song.”

Justin Timberlake Says NO to 'Glee'

From x 17:

While most artists are dying to be incorporated into the hit FOX show Glee, Justin Timberlake is not one of them. The SexyBack singer said "no" to the show's producers when they asked if his songs could be used in a future episode, according to Us.

Glee producers reportedly took this as a "slap in the face," a source tells the mag.
So far, the following artists have said yes: Rihanna, Queen, Journey, Britney Spears and Katy Perry ... just to name a few.

2.12 Song List

Let's hope you haven't had your fill of silly love songs, because there's a colorful collection of classics — both old and new — lined up for Glee's February 8 Valentine's Day episode. "The name of the episode is 'Silly Love Songs,'" Matthew Morrison (Will) tells me. "My assignment to the kids is to have them perform love songs, so we're doing some fun classics that are Valentines-y."

Here, exclusively, is the full lineup of Glee's "Valentines-y" songs:

Katy Perry's "Firework," performed by Rachel (Lea Michele)

Queen's "Fat Bottomed Girls," performed by Puck (Mark Salling)

Michael Jackson's "P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)," performed by Artie (Kevin McHale)

Babes In Arms' "My Funny Valentine," performed by Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz)

Robin Thicke's "When I Get You Alone," performed by Blaine (Darren Criss) and the Warblers

And of course, Paul McCartney's "Silly Love Songs," performed by The Warblers

I'm hearing some hearts may be broken in this pivotal episode. Considering that, which Glee couple are you most rooting for?
