Charice Slated for 7 More Episodes
Charice announced that she was set for at least 5 to 7 episodes on Glee.
“Before I forget, I’m going to be back on ‘Glee.’ I’ll have 5 to 7 more episodes,” she said during her concert “1@11″ in Manila.
Charice is expected to make her Glee comeback on Super Bowl episode, February 6. She is said to be performing with her fellow Vocal Adrenaline member doing a Black Eyed Peas song.

New Info on Cheyenne Jackson and Charice
Are we going to be seeing the return of the flawless Queen of the Philippines Charice on "Glee" as Sunshine soon? There is a new hint to be found in the newly-released preview pictures for the show's "Special Education" episode airing on November 30.
In the photo below we can see Cheyenne Jackson's character of Dustin Goolsby speaking to the Pedo. As some of you may remember from the "Audition" episode that aired earlier in the season, Charice was swooped up by Dustin to join Vocal Adrenaline after Lea Michele's Rachel Berry shunned her from the club and intentionally sent her to the wrong location in fear of getting replaced.
The one thing that is particularly interesting about this is that "Special Education" episode features Sectionals, and Vocal Adrenaline is really only competition at the Regional level.

Charice hospitalized after food poisoning!
Charice was rushed to the hospital Saturday after battling a case of food poisoning. The news was confirmed by the singer's mother, who announced via Twitter that "she had a slight stomach ache due to the sushi that she ate in the green room.”
Charice is currently in Singapore wrapping up what has been an international tour through most of Asia, and she is expected to return to her role soon as Sunshine on the popular musical comedy. During her first episode of the show, she received plenty of publicity for her rendition of Lady Gaga's "Telephone" along with Lea Michele.

Charice talks Glee, Boys, and Botox with People Magazine
After that flattering feature in Newsweek, Charice this time graces the latest issue of People magazine which devotes a one-and-a-half color page in a Q&A that brings the wit and humor of what People calls “Oprah’s protégée.”
The intro recalls how Charice, at 16, was discovered on YouTube, guested on Oprah Winfrey’s show, did a duet with Celine Dion and became known only by her first name. Charice has dropped her surname Pempengco after she was told by her estranged father to stop using it. At 18, Charice is making waves as the newest member of Glee, playing a Filipino foreign exchange student.
Some people have been wondering if Charice was here to pave the way for the singing contest named after her Glee character Sunshine Corazon in Barangay Gulod in Cabuyao, Laguna, where she grew up and first sang on the same stage where the SC contestants competed in an effort that, yes, any of them could be another Charice. All I know is that Charice is coming third week of this month to perform at Hitman David Foster and Friends show on the 23rd at the Araneta Coliseum.

Anyway, Funfare is printing the People mag’s “girl talk” with Charice to show how far she has gone from a barrio lass to an international star.
How is it playing Sunshine on Glee?
Charice singing Because You Loved Me with Celine Dion in New York City in 2008
“I can relate to her because I was nerdy, wore glasses and didn’t talk much in school. Glee is my favorite show ever. I was so nervous, but on-set everyone made me feel so comfortable.”
Let’s talk about boys. Are you dating yet?
“No. I’m not ready. I’m happy being a kid. Oprah told me, ‘Boyfriends can wait. Being a kid is once in a lifetime’.”
When you are ready, what will you look for in a guy?
“He has to be funny. That’s the main thing. Because I’m funny. Well, that’s what my friends tell me.”
How are Filipino boys different from American ones?
“Boys in America are more mature; 13-year-old boys here have girlfriends! But Filipino boys are so romantic. They give roses and chocolates. In high school six guys sang a Korean song I couldn’t understand in front of my house. It was so cute.”
Do you have any celebrity crushes?
“Justin Timberlake. Josh Groban. Jake Gyllenhaal. When I met Justin, I thought I was going to faint. He was like, ‘Charice, you’re so great!’ But Jessica Biel was there, so I was like, ‘This is not my night…’”
Why did you get Botox injections in July?
“I got it for jaw pain, not for wrinkles — I don’t have any.”
Were you surprised at the backlash?
“It was so ridiculous. You can check pictures of me before and after; I’m still the same. I’m never going to change my face. God gave it to me, and I’m proud of it.”

Charice: I want to sing Christina Aguilera and Michael Jackson for 'Glee'
When it comes to performing on "Glee," Charice's character Sunshine Corazon has already gotten some great songs. She performed a duet of "Telephone" with Lea Michele and a phenomenal rendition of "Listen" as a solo. Both songs exploded on the iTunes charts immediately following her "Glee" debut last week.

So which artist would Charice like to tackle next? "Sunshine would love to dance. I would love to try a Michael Jackson song. I also haven’t covered any Christina Aguilera, but I love her."
For now, show creators have planted the seeds for an entertaining rivalry between Sunshine and Rachel Berry. But with such a huge voice, the Filipina star could find a new enemy in yet anothr New Directions member. "Mercedes is really great – I could be her rival too," Charice stated in an interview this week.

New Stars Hit a High Note on 'Glee'
"Glee," the runaway hit show from Fox, returned for its season two premiere on Tuesday night. The musical comedy scored big in the ratings, as well as in the Search box, thanks in large to the cast's newest members.
Several new characters hit a high note on the Web. We would be terrified not to mention Dot Jones, who rocked the TV as Coach Beiste (pronounced "Beast"). The veteran actress has appeared in a slew of TV shows over the year, but her new role as an utterly humorless football coach looks to be her breakout. Web lookups on Jones, sure to be a fan favorite this season, jumped 556%. A little poking around on the Web uncovers that Jones is a 15-time (now-retired) arm wrestling champion and stands an astounding 6'3.

Other popular lookups on Yahoo! gave a boost to Charice, who plays Sunshine Corazon. Web searches on "charice" soared 191% following the premiere, and related lookups on "charice on glee" jumped 482%. Even more impressive was the sudden 516% spike on "charicemania," the actress's website.
Anyone who has followed the 18-year-old's career knows she's hardly new to show business. The singer actress already counts Oprah Winfrey as one of her biggest fans. Now that she's on one of television's most popular shows, expect Charice's fan base, as well as her search profile, to roar even louder.
Web searches on Chord Overstreet (yes, that's his real name) were also quite impressive. Overstreet plays a Justin Bieber lookalike named Sam who belted out a surprisingly stirring rendition of Travie McCoy and Bruno Mars' "Billionaire." Not just anybody can pull that off, kids.
The returning castmates also got some love in the Search box. But oddly, fans seemed most interested in their ages. Online queries for "lea michele age" jumped 732% (she's 24), and interest in "cory monteith age" spiked about 300% (he's 28).
Jane Lynch, who returned as the over-the-top demanding Sue Sylvester, was no slouch on the Web. The Emmy winning actress saw her searches jump 451%. That's a number sure to make Mr. Schuester jealous.

Charice found out about casting via Twitter posts
Sometimes, people found out about their jobs in unusual ways. The prime example for this now comes in pint-size pop star Charice, who recently revealed that it was thanks to Twitter that she first heard she was cast in "Glee" this season:
“It was like three months ago, and my mom and I were talking about it, and so she talked to my manager. Glee’s my favorite show, and so we tried. We talked to Ryan [Murphy]. I sang for [him] but I never expected that I would be a part of it. And I found out on Twitter. I was like, ‘This is not true,’ so after 30 minutes, I got an e-mail from them [saying], ‘Congratulations.’

“I love all the cast. They actually really gave me a warm welcome when I was on the set. I love my character. It’s really me. It’s very Charice, because I love wearing glasses kind of nerdy kind of cutie, fashionable clothes and all that. It’s really me. I love it.”
