New GLEE Spoilers From Ausiello

Question: There’s buzz that the upcoming Glee death is Emma! Can you please deny or confirm this, because I will cry if it’s true! —Nicole
Ausiello: Save your tears, Nic. Emma’s not croaking, although your question nearly scared the OCD-afflicted character’s alter ego to death. “I’d just like to know why anyone would think it’s Emma,” inquires a befuddled Jayma Mays. “Does she get into an antibacterial fit and over-antibacterialize herself?! [Laughs] You know, that can kill if you don’t have enough germs in your body — maybe that’s what they’re thinking?” Or maybe, just possibly, they weren’t thinking at all. Just putting that out there.

Question: What can you tell us about the upcoming Glee death? —Katie
Ausiello: The dearly departed is female. And not named Emma.

Question: Was last week’s Glee John Stamos’ final episode as Carl? —Emily
Ausiello: Sure seems that way. At the very least it’s the end of the road for Emma and Carl. “The way they left it last week, it does seem that it’s over,” says Mays. “I’m sure so much of it has to do with John Stamos’ schedule as well, but I would love to have more stuff with him in whatever capacity that would be.”

Chris Colfer and Darren Criss Hint at Season Three Plot Twist

We caught up with the actors playing "Glee" characters Blaine Anderson (Darren Criss) and Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer) at the Time 100 gala in New York City on Tuesday, getting the stars to dish on the future of their TV relationship and shooting in the Big Apple.

"We're in the honeymoon phase now," Darren responded when asked if Kurt and Blaine's relationship will survive them attending different schools. "They're together and I think it's going to be rainbows and sunshine for quite a while then we'll see what happens in season three. Ryan [Murphy] said if and when they got together that he wanted it to be as flawed and as delicate as anybody's relationship, so I think we'll run into that, but we won't know until next season."

The show is currently filming in New York and Chris seemed to appreciate the change in scenery, saying, "It's so thrilling. I wish we had this excitement every day in L.A. but, people in L.A., they're so used to it. We don't have fans that come and meet us at a location."

Chris went on to explain how he felt being named one of Time magazine's 100 most influential people in the world at just 20-years-old.

"I definitely was surprised when I got the call, saying that I was included on the list, especially since I'm still kind of mastering my motor skills," Chris admitted. "I'm just completely humbled and honored that I'm even in the same room as these people."

Chris joins the likes of Mark Zuckerberg, Amy Poehler, Joe Biden, Tom Ford, Oprah Winfrey and Hillary Clinton, among others.

Rumor: Tom Cruise to Appear on Glee?

Apparently, Tom Cruise is being approached by the Glee to appear in future episodes.

A source told Showbiz Spy: "The producers love the idea that Tom might create a character just like Les Grossman in Tropic Thunder.

"His dance rendition to Flo Rida's 'Low' went down so well with audiences and they know something like that would be just as popular, if not more so, on Glee."

They added: "At the moment they are in talks with Tom to play a failed and jaded popstar who is now teaching a Glee Club at a rival school but they are willing to let him have a lot of input in to his character just to try and get him on the show.

Chris Colfer is one of TIME's Most Influential

Chris has wanted to be an actor, as he says, "since I was an embryo," which gave him the determination to say, "Yes, I can," despite the many who had said no. Chris, 20, lives by extreme truth, speaking out against the epidemic of bullying that he, too, faced in high school. The honesty that he infuses into his Glee character, Kurt, leaves you reeling. Our cast is blessed to hear things like "Your character has helped me through this, or helped me do that," but none more so than Chris. To witness the power he gives to his audience firsthand? It's wonderful.

Emma Roberts and Chord Overstreet Spotted 'Making Out'

New couple alert or just a casual fling? 'Scream 4' star Emma Roberts was caught making out with 'Glee' heartthrob Chord Overstreet at the Coachella music festival last weekend.

According to UsMagazine.com, the actors were in Indigo, Calif., enjoying the annual fest and hit up the A|X Armani Exchange and 944 Magazine carnival together.

"They were making out," a witness told Us. "They couldn't keep their hands off each other!"

The couple was certainly cozy at the party and even talked about creating an after party of their own.

"They were talking about heading to a hotel pool," a source says.

Glee's Max Adler Talks 'Glee' with TV Guide

TV Guide Magazine: Chris Colfer (Kurt) has discussed the amount of mail he's received playing the part of a bullied gay kid. What kind of mail have you received as the big bad bully?
Max: I can't tell you how much I get every day from around the world. People who either identified with Karofsky because they were him or were bullied by someone like him. The most touching ones I've received are ones from gay adults who hadn't looked back at being a closeted gay person in high school. This one guy wrote to say he had been disowned by his family and his mother and father hadn't spoken to him in, like, fifteen years. When he saw the "Never Been Kissed" episode [in which Karofsky kisses Kurt], it moved him enough to send it to them, saying, "Watch this; I think you'll understand where I was coming from." And they started talking and actually reunited. They're a family again. The fact that a TV show can do that is so crazy.

TV Guide Magazine: What about fans who have a problem disassociating character from actor? Any folks who have given you a hard time about being so mean to our little Kurty?
Max: Yes. "Leave Kurt alone! Stop being so mean to him!" There's a lot of that.

TV Guide Magazine: So, the big Lady Gaga "Born This Way" episode is coming up. Do you sing?
Max: I've toured the country with my high school show choir and jazz choir. I sing and dance, do musicals. I was in Grease, Music Man, Anything Goes. I'm a big fan of theater.

TV Guide Magazine: Do you sing as Karofsky in the April 26 episode?
Max: I will say this. "Born This Way" by Lady Gaga is obviously a featured song in the episode and Karofsky is involved in that number. That song is the main focal point and message of the whole episode as far as people tackling their insecurities and overcoming things like sexuality or physical appearance. Everyone's got something they wish they could change. The episode is about the kids realizing the one thing they may not like about themselves is the one thing that makes them special.

TV Guide Magazine: You're a straight guy, so what's something you had to work through and overcome?
Max: If you're going to get deep, losing my mom in high school to muscular dystrophy when I was 17. It was a very hard thing to have all eyes in the school on me when I returned, waiting for me to break down and cry. It's not easy to go back to high school and pretend it's all okay when your life gets shattered. And then on the more physical side, would I like to have a body like Brad Pitt in Fight Club? Well, yes!

TV Guide Magazine: With politically charged storylines like the one you've been playing comes spokesperson invitations. How will you being getting the word out?
Max: I did a video for the "It Gets Better" campaign through the Trevor Project. Now they have an "It Gets Better" book with everyone's speeches you can get through Amazon. And I got in touch with the Muscular Dystrophy Association to see how I can use the Glee recognition for good. I'm learning a lot about the disease. I'm also doing this thing called Fight the Paddle, which is combating corporal punishment in schools. In 20 states in America it's still legal for kids to be beaten by their teachers. I was shocked when I saw this kid on TV showing his bruises because he got a D on his science test.

TV Guide Magazine: I assure you, Max, I have never asked this in an interview before, but it strangely seems appropriate to ask you. Have you had any personal experience with spanking?
Max: [Laughs]. No connection. That's really not one of your standard interview questions?

TV Guide Magazine: Nope, but I'll try to work it in. What's the talk about your role next season?
Max: With Karofsky, you have no idea. He could join the glee club and sing a big solo as an out, proud guy, or he could go the opposite route and go home and hang himself like many people have done. Imagine that episode, that message.

TV Guide Magazine: Oh my God! You think that could actually happen?
Max: It's all up to [show creator] Ryan Murphy. He's already got Blaine and Kurt as out gay people. I don't know if he's going to tackle the real serious aspect of what being closeted can lead someone to. But I've been told the real-life stories of this happening. I honestly have no idea. But being what Glee is, about tolerance, self-acceptance and the fact that it's a comedy, I think that would be very, very harsh and morbid. However Ryan has been known as far back as the Nip/Tuck days to push the envelope and go for the shocking moments. If he were to do that it would be for a reason and a cause that only Glee could tell. But as an actor, I hope that doesn't happen because I want to stay on Glee forever!

[After I got off the phone with Max, the thought of Karofsky doing himself in really started freaking me out. So I asked Glee executive producer Brad Falchuk if this was seriously something for fans to be worried about. Here's what he said: "That really does happen and we do like to pursue storylines that are pulled from the headlines. I can't say it wasn't discussed, but Glee doesn't really feel like the show for that. We like to get dramatic and push things, but that didn't seem the kind of story we wanted to tell."]

Darren Criss Talks About Blaine

“They kind of called it out, which I’m glad they did,” he joked. “Blaine definitely had his moment in the sun. I think it’s time to focus back on the characters that fans of the show really know and love … I think we’re focusing a little more back on New Directions and taking a little bit of a break from the Warblers.”

Penelope Cruz wants Glee cameo

Penelope Cruz has revealed she is a huge fan of Glee and would like to cameo on the show.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star's husband Javier Bardem, is also a big fan of the show and has been in talks with creator Ryan Murphy about appearing on the show, and now Penelope has told Entertainment Weekly she'd like a piece of the action.

She revealed: "It's actually the only thing that I watch on television.

"Gwyneth (Paltrow, who has had her own Glee stint) was amazing. She was so funny and she has such an amazing voice. And once you've done a musical you always want to do it again."

Glee’s Mark Salling Plays Frisbee Golf

Major Glee spoiler: Want to know who will be McKinley's prom queen and king?

Darren Criss Covers Billboard Magazine! Talks Solo Album!

Why he got into musical theater:
For me, it was Disney. I remember seeing people’s reaction to “Aladdin” and thinking, “Oh, man, I want to be a genie when I grow up!” Robin Williams is a pretty big character in San Francisco. I was like, “I want to do whatever that guy does. What does he do, Mom? He’s an actor? OK, I want to do that.”

About possibly releasing a solo album with Sony music:
We’re working on it—we’re really excited and it’s something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time. I’m so thrilled that it’s something that can happen because of Glee, and like the Warblers album I hope I can do it justice and make it something that people can really enjoy.

Getting prepared for the Glee tour:
A year ago, I was so psyched that my first show in L.A. was at the Troubadour. Talk about so much for baby steps. It’s like, “Wait—Staples Center, are you kidding me?” I was happy to drive around in a beat-up, crappy old van with my bandmates and just go to small clubs around the country.

Glee: Scene from "A Night of Neglect"

Amber Riley covers Adele's "Someone Like You"

Darren Criss talks Warblers album + Billboard Mag cover

Darren Criss interview with Billboard Magazine

Criss talked to Billboard about his beginnings, running StarKid and playing arenas on the "Glee" tour.

Billboard: How did you first get into musical theater?

Darren Criss: For me, it was Disney. I remember seeing people's reaction to "Aladdin" and thinking, "Oh, man, I want to be a genie when I grow up!" Robin Williams is a pretty big character in San Francisco. I was like, "I want to do whatever that guy does. What does he do, Mom? He's an actor? OK, I want to do that." I was all over the map, musically. I had all the "Les [Miserables]" and Andrew Lloyd Webber records, and I was a kid growing up in the '90s, so [I listened to] whatever pop was out at the time.

When did you first start to perform?

I was writing a lot of music in high school, and I enjoyed playing my own stuff but only if people asked. I figured at an open mic, I could either play a song about my own personal struggle with x-y-z, or I could play a Disney song, like "Part of Your World." If you can tap into someone's nostalgia, you've got it. People get into it. It's the gateway drug into "What else does this guy play?" That was my parlor trick.

After college I continued to play at coffee shops in L.A. because I had this huge backlog of music. I'd play for like four hours straight, and I'd never play the same song twice. I'd do it for like 50 bucks and it just made me happy. What's crazy is everything I'm doing now on "Glee" is just an extension of what I've been doing my whole life. If they hadn't given me "Teenage Dream," I would have been playing it in a cafe somewhere.

Rewinding to college for a second, what was your reaction when "A Very Potter Musical" took off?

The day we put it on YouTube was the day my life turned completely upside down. There was a completely unanticipated, bizarre reaction where we fell ass-backward into this phenomenon of the Harry Potter fan community. Within a week we had like the No. 1 viewed video in 50 countries. We thought, "We have an audience -- we should start a production company." We put my "Human" EP out at the same time as the StarKid albums ["Me and My Dick" and "A Very StarKid Album"], so we had three albums charting in a year. I think the record labels were like, "What? How is this happening? Who are these kids?" It's a testament to what's possible in our generation. Case in point, Rebecca Black.

Does your "Glee" contract give you the flexibility to continue working with StarKid?

I was pleasantly surprised with how accommodating they all were. ["Glee" co-creator] Ryan Murphy has been extremely supportive. He knows about StarKid . . . and he's come to my shows. And there's a certain amount of credibility that they lend to it, which I'm appreciative of. So while I continue to work on our next musical, "Starship," I'm not singing on that record; it's just me as a writer.
How creatively fulfilling is it to record a "Glee" album?

Considering I didn't ever expect what happened, I'm certainly grateful for it. I can't believe they've decided to make an album out of all this stuff. My mom is like, "Oh, I can't wait for your album!" I'm like, "Mom, it's not really my album. My album will come out eventually. I was about to have it out. You'll be able to listen to it soon." Which is not to sound ungrateful. It's just not my music -- it's other people's songs, and it's not just about me -- it's about "Glee" and a character who does these things with the Warblers. I look at it as a collective thing.

How involved are you in your day-to-day business?

I'm incredibly anal about everything that I do. Obviously because I'm so busy with so many things, people have to help me out, and I'm sure they feel like they're running me. But honestly, there's not a single decision that happens on my behalf that I don't feel I have complete control or say in.

I'm very specific about my goals. When I get home, I'm on the phone with StarKid and discussing things with them. It's tough because I'm helping run a ship over the phone in Los Angeles, and they've moved to Chicago rather recently. But I'm involved. Part of the reason I have the traction I do is that I have a pretty healthy relationship with everybody I work with, and it's really conducive toward being able to do all the massive amount of things that I run around doing. It's not just me being an actor -- it's musician and writer.

Do you have any creative input on the songs you get to perform on "Glee"?

I'm still the new guy, so I don't want to go around saying, "We should do this. We should do that." But Ryan is always open to ideas, and I did at one point say, "Hey, Neon Trees' 'Animal' is a really great song." And about a week later it showed up in the script. So whether or not he did it because of me, or if that was an idea he'd already had, I don't know, but it was a suggestion that I made and it became a reality. It just goes to show how open and receptive he is to ideas.

What was it like recording the Warblers album?

About 90% of the Warblers album I recorded in New York, because it's easier to fly one guy from L.A. to the East Coast than the 14 Beelzebubs guys from the East Coast to the West Coast. Things are very rush, rush, rush in Los Angeles because of the shooting schedule -- typically for a "Glee" track, they only have anywhere from about 20 minutes to an hour or two. But I really lucked out when I went to New York because we could spend numbers of hours and get some food, have a beer and really organically grow something. It's a luxury that I do not take for granted, and I'm very careful to advertise that because I don't want to make the other "Glee" cast members mad at me for having that kind of situation.

Your character, Blaine, was singing so much at one point this season, the show itself even joked about it in a recent episode.

They kind of called it out, which I'm glad they did. Blaine definitely had his moment in the sun. I think it's time to focus back on the characters that fans of the show really know and love. Completely objectively from watching the show, I was like, "Why does Blaine get all these songs? This is ridiculous. I want to hear other people doing stuff." I think we're focusing a little more back on New Directions and taking a little bit of a break from the Warblers.

Do you envision releasing your solo album under the Sony Music family eventually?

We're working on it -- we're really excited and it's something I've been wanting to do for a long time. I'm so thrilled that it's something that can happen because of "Glee," and like the Warblers album I hope I can do it justice and make it something that people can really enjoy.

Are you mentally prepared to play big arenas on the "Glee" tour?

Everything is so much bigger than myself, it's hard to comprehend. A year ago, I was so psyched that my first show in L.A. was at the Troubadour. I grew up dreaming of playing the Troubadour one day. Talk about so much for baby steps. It's like, "Wait -- Staples Center, are you kidding me?" I was happy to drive around in a beat-up, crappy old van with my bandmates and just go to small clubs around the country.

When I look back on "Glee" and on this album, it's like I was offered to live in a golden marshmallow house in the sky. It's like, "Sure! I'll take it!" I never thought that it would ever happen, that I would get a magical marshmallow castle in the sky, but my God, thank you.

Dianna Agron is not dating Lea Michele

Dianna Agron has insisted that she is not in a relationship with Lea Michele.

The Glee star, who plays Quinn Fabray in the TV show, said that people are "convinced" that she and her co-star are dating.

She told Marie Claire: "Everybody is convinced that Lea and I are in a relationship. There are forums with photos of us hugging."

Meanwhile, Michele, who plays Rachel Berry in the series, revealed that she abandoned her vehicle on the way to her Glee audition after being involved in a car accident.

She explained: "I was more afraid that they'd think I was using that as an excuse for being late. Because at first they were like, 'Oh, my God are you okay?' But after a while they were joking, 'So that 'car crash' you were in…'

New Spoilers on Klaine, Brittana, “Night of Neglect” etc!

From Kristin Dos Santos of E! Online:

ammysin: Anything new on Blaine/Kurt on Glee? Can’t get enough of those two!
Neither can we. That’s why we were so psyched when Darren Criss told us that Blaine and Kurt (Chris Colfer) have real staying power. “They’re in the honeymoon stage, and they’ve just recently gotten together, so that’s really new and exciting like any new relationship is,” he says to us. “I think [Blaine] has something really special with Kurt. It’s not just a flash in the pan kind of crush.”

Bagelsvswaffles: True or false: Tina from Glee has some kind of storyline coming up?
True. In fact, the “Night of Neglect” episode is all about those New Directions members who haven’t been in the spotlight in awhile. “It’s about people who have been neglected, and now they have the opportunity to show what they’ve got,” Harry Shum Jr. tells us. Who has been on your Glee neglected list that you hope will soon get some serious screen time?

kec0309: I need more #Glee scoop! What can we expect when Jonathan Groff returns as Jesse St. James?
Even though our first assumption would be that Jesse is returning to woo Rachel, he has another motive up his sleeve (which is most likely a leather jacket sleeve, of cours). But don’t worry, Jesse’s motive isn’t evil. He’s just trying to help out a friend. But even if his motive was evil, who cares? The Groff is back!

YELYAHbosco: There is lots of speculation about Glee‘s Santana and her sexuality, any scoop on her upcoming storyline?
“She’s definitely a lesbian,” Brad Falchuk tells us, forever putting to rest the question of her sexuality. Now that we cleared that up, Santana won’t be over Brittany anytime soon, so instead of dealing with it, she kind of runs from it. And she’ll be running into the arms of…a dude.

Maggie in Lexington, Ky.: Glee, por favor!
The bosses over at Glee are looking to cast someone to play Jarod, a high school student with Down syndrome. Perhaps he’ll have some kind of relationship with Becky (Lauren Potter)?

Chord Overstreet Talks About The Glee Project

What Adele Song is Gwyneth Paltrow Diligently Preparing to Sing on Glee?

I have some rather exciting news to share. After weeks of rigorous 5 hour a day workouts with fitness guru Tracy Anderson, voice training with legendary vocal coach and dear family friend Seth Rudetsky and a dedicated macrobiotic diet of miso and watercress soup, screen siren Gwyneth Paltrow is finally ready to tackle the musical stylings of some peasant girl named Adeal? Adalee? Oh, sorry, my assistant has informed me that apparently, it's called 'Adele.' My apologies. I must admit, I usually only listen to African tribal choirs and isolationist and organic ambient music (yes, even my music is organic!).

Paltrow, who is known for her Academy Award winning role in Shakespeare in Love, as well as other cinematic masterpieces such as Emma, Great Expectations and Shallow Hal, is currently moonlighting on a television series entitled Glee. As I do not own a television set, I called upon my darling friend Tinsley Mortimer to confirm. She says that although she has not seen the program either she did run into one of the shows stars, a "Leah Michelle," at Tara Palmer-Tomkinson's Labor Day for the Labour Party luncheon this past summer. Now, I'm not one to gossip but Tinsley tells me that the diminutive young ingenue was simply binging herself on the vegan canapes (she ate 4 of them, can you believe it?!?!?!) and downing the Dom like it was Pellegrino sparkling water! With manners like that it's no wonder she is on network TV.

But back to my dear friend Gwyneth. In honor of her performance, I will be holding a champagne and caviar toast on my pied-à-terre in Gramercy Park. I do hope that you don't think that you are allowed to join us.

Kiss kiss,

11 Characters Who Are Bringing Their Shows Down

Sue Sylvester, 'Glee'

This character went from the best scene-stealer around to, well, almost the best scene-killer. It's no surprise Jane Lynch won the Emmy for 'Glee' season 1. 'Glee' season 2? That's another story. The character has gotten more and more absurd and cartoony. In fact, it wouldn't be surprising if Ryan Murphy and co. actually did an episode with an animated Sue Sylvester. By giving her so much to do, and trying to top each stunt, Sue Sylvester has become a burden for 'Glee.' That's not to say that every scene and episode with her is horrible; it's just a balance issue that needs to be rectified.

Jonathan Groff discusses return of Jesse St. James on GLEE

Jesse St. James, played by Jonathan Groff, is most known for being Rachel Berry’s (Lea Michele) ex-boyfriend from the rival Carmel High School.

“I love his confidence and how unabashedly full of himself he is,” Groff said. “Is he good or is he bad? Jesse certainly had a secret. He’s likable and unlikable at the same time. It’s a fun balance.”

In the last episode Jesse appeared in, he egged Rachel in the WMHS parking lot after their relationship turned sour then leads the Vocal Adrenaline glee club to a win over the New Directions in the Regionals competition.

“It was awesome. I loved it,” Groff said of the parking lot scene. “The only thing that was hard was not laughing. It took five or six takes. The lines were so intense.”

“I wish I knew more,” he said of Jesse’s return. “I found out last week. Ryan Murphy contacted me. I start in a week or two.”

“I’ll be singing with Lea probably but I don’t know if he’s raising havoc or coming to apologize.”

“Their relationship was a little unresolved,” he said. “I would like some resolution.”

Darren Criss Down for Warbler Spin-Off

Darren Criss tells to Access Hollywood at the Spring 2011 Oxygen upfronts in New York that he is open to the idea of a Warblers spin-off.

"Hey, I'm just happy to be invited to the party. A spin-off, whatever they want, I'm happy where I am." He added, "I think Blaine serves a really cool function in the grander scheme of 'Glee' so I don't think we need to focus particularly - you know, but if they want to do it, hey, I'm down! Whatever they want."

'The potato acts as a sponge and your body literally shrinks and gets ripped and tight. Afterwards, I ordered two pizzas and pasta!'
