Regis & Kelly Halloween Show - GLEE Skit

Charice hospitalized after food poisoning!

Charice was rushed to the hospital Saturday after battling a case of food poisoning. The news was confirmed by the singer's mother, who announced via Twitter that "she had a slight stomach ache due to the sushi that she ate in the green room.”

Charice is currently in Singapore wrapping up what has been an international tour through most of Asia, and she is expected to return to her role soon as Sunshine on the popular musical comedy. During her first episode of the show, she received plenty of publicity for her rendition of Lady Gaga's "Telephone" along with Lea Michele.

Parade Interview with Chris Colfer and Amber Riley

Glee stars Chris Colfer and Amber Riley are singing the praises of America's Favorite Show Choir, Chantilly High's Touch of Class. The actors told Parade that they are excited to see real-life show choirs have their moment in the spotlight.

What was your own high-school experience like?

CC: When I was in high school it wasn't "cool" to be a part of performing arts. I wish there was a Glee back then, could have saved me some trouble.

AR: It was very normal. I kind of just blended in, kept to myself but was friendly to everyone.

What kind of effect did the performing arts have on you?

CC: I was overly involved and underappreciated for it. If it weren't for the performing arts I would have gone insane. Oddly, pretending to be other people has always kept me sane.

AR: I was a part of the drama club. It was the first time I realized how passionate I was about acting.

How important do you think the arts programs in schools are for kids today?

AR: It's very important. I believe we were all born with a gift, and some people won't be scientists or doctors so math and science doesn't exactly hold their attention. Everyone needs a creative outlet to express themselves, and the arts in school provides that.

What's it like to know that you are inspiring high-school students across the country?

AR: It is an honor to know that kids look up to the show. What is the use in being a celebrity if you can't use the platform to help?

What do you love most about performing?

CC: I've always loved the mutual escapism of it shared between the performer and the audience. It's very addicting.

What's your advice for kids who would love to be in your shoes one day?

CC: Make sure it's the craft that you love and want to be a part of and not the fame and claimed "perks" that come with it. Educate yourself in the business aspect of it too. Then never give up!

AR: I would say always be true to yourself because it is hard work and you'll get a million "no's" before you get that one "yes" you dreamed of!

Besides your own character of course, who is your favorite character on the show?

CC: Sue Sylvester. What's not to love? She's kind of my role model.

AR: Sue Sylvester and Emma are a toss up for me.

You've had some great performances on Glee. What's the one song you'd love to sing next?

CC: "Defying Gravity" was my dream song, and after "Rose's Turn" all I have left is "Don't Cry For Me Argentina" to complete my collection of female powerhouse ballads.

AR: I would love to sing "Human Nature" or any Michael Jackson song.

Any advice to kids out there who sometimes feel like "outcasts," just like the New Directions kids do?

AR: As long as you are being true to yourself, you will always find happiness. And, P.S., life rocks after high school!

Shirtless Clips From "ROCKY HORROR GLEE SHOW"

More Spoilers on the Christmas Album

From Kristin D Santos:

Track four is "Baby, It's Cold Outside" and the very romantic jazzy duet between Darren Criss' Blaine and Chris Colfer's Kurt makes it clear those two have heart-warming Christmas sparks.

We can gather from the lyrics that Blaine is very interested in Kurt ("I'll hold your hands...They're just like ice...Gosh, your lips look delicious..."), but that Kurt is more hesitant about his feelings for Blaine ("I wish I knew how to break this spell...I've gotta get home...I really can't stay"). Separate from the mushy stuff, it's a marvelous version of the song. Put it on repeat, play it a dozen times, and consider yourself melted.

In other intriguing romance news, two of Lea Michele's solos, "Merry Christmas Darling" and Wham!'s "Last Christmas," imply that Rachel and Finn (Cory Monteith) might be on some kind of holiday hiatus.

On "Merry Christmas Darling," Rachel warbles "We're apart, that's true, but I can dream, and in my dreams, I'm Christmassing with you...I've just one wish on this Christmas Eve, I wish I were with you." And then, as any holiday radio listener knows, "Last Christmas, I gave you my heart, but the very next day, you gave it away." Hmmm...could there be trouble in Finnchel paradise?

OK, so putting away "shipping" for a second (don't die of shock everybody, it happens once in a while), here's how the song breakdown goes for the Christmas album:

Michele's Rachel takes the lead on "O Holy Night" (which is amazing, duh), as well as the aforementioned "Merry Christmas Darling" and Wham's "Last Christmas," while Amber Riley's Mercedes is the boss of "Angels We Have Heard on High" (which is amazing, duh).

Matthew Morrison does the voiceover for "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch" (featuring k.d. lang) and solos "O Christmas Tree."

(Oh, and speaking of celebrity guest stars, rumor has it that "I Dreamed a Dream" diva Susan Boyle will cameo in the Dec. 7 Glee Christmas episode, but a Fox rep has declined to confirm the story.)

The entire cast joins forces for "We Need a Little Christmas" and "The Most Wonderful Day of the Year" (led by Kevin McHale's Artie), while the girls break out for "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" and the boys tackle "Jingle Bells."

Are you as excited for Kurt and Blaine's "Kaine" as we are? (Or should be calling them "Blurt"?) Will you buy the Christmas album when it comes out? What other holiday music would you like to hear on Glee in the seasons to come?

Jessalyn Gilsig talks about the return of Terri

It has been a wild year for Jessalyn Gilsig. The Glee star — who you also know from Heroes, Friday Night Lights and Ryan Murphy’s Nip/Tuck — was Public Enemy No. 1 for most of last season because of her portrayal as pregnancy faking Terri Schuester on the hit Fox series. The outrage has gradually changed, but it has also unfortunately coincided with less Terri than ever before; despite being a series regular, Gilsig has only appeared once this season. Fear not though, burgeoning Terri fans: That’s all about to change.

Gilsig rang up Movieline from her home last week to discuss the rollercoaster ride that is playing Terri Schuester, the infamous GQ photo shoot and which artist she’d most like to see featured during the Super Bowl episode.

Did you just get home from filming?
No, I wasn’t filming today — I finished filming episode seven on Friday and I have a scene with Gwyneth Paltrow, which I’m excited about.

Can you say what happens?
Basically, I get to have a great, typical Terri moment, where my ex-husband is interacting with yet another woman and I get to give them both a piece of my mind.

I have to say, I’ve been really disappointed at the lack of Terri this season thus far.
Yeah, I’ve been really disappointed, too! It’s frustrating, I want to get in there!

I think the fans want you in there, too. It seem the reactions to Terri have warmed since season one.
I’ve never in my life been through anything like this. Where it really sort of started at a deficit, and then I seemed to lose points in the polls, if you will. And then there’s been a kind of quiet recovery that I’m starting to benefit from. I have to agree, I felt a sort of shift in tide and I’m kind of relieved; I don’t know if I could have lived in that state forever. With Terri, my instinct was — and I’m glad I stuck with it — that she was kind of a marathon character. You have to stay the course because she kind of reveals herself over time. But your first impression of her is a little unsettling.

You did have that very memorable scene in the Britney Spears episode this season, which was one of the more well-received Terri Schuester moments yet.
That episode is a perfect example. It was just that one scene, and it was the Britney episode — and it was Heather’s episode and I think she was obviously brilliant. It was exciting for all of us who knew how talented she was, to get that recognition. But what was a surprise was that my one scene — how many people were quoting it to me. One guy came up to me in Trader Joe’s and was like, “What I like about Terri is that she’s the only one to tell it how it is.”

Do you think Ryan Murphy and the writers have intentionally tried to course correct Terri or was this the plan all along?
Ryan had said upfront that it would be a kind of self-sacrifice to play Terri. He was pretty honest about that from the beginning: “You’re kind of the sacrificial character.” In order for America to want Will to, basically, walk out on his wife, you had to have this totally irredeemable character. But I fought — and Ryan was in support of this — that she couldn’t be a monster for monster’s sake. I also didn’t expect people to be as upset about the fake pregnancy as they were. People were furious. Furious.

Why do you think that was?
I think for us to find that position was really tricky. I mean on Nip/Tuck, that would be benign. We used to talk about the possibility about having Terri maybe hook up with a student, and we were saying if it was Nip/Tuck, the audience would be furious that we hadn’t done it by now. But you can’t do it on Glee — it’s a different audience and a different platform.

Really, a fake pregnancy doesn’t seem that bad.
For me, I didn’t think the pregnancy — obviously the pillow, that was extreme. But as are the kids have Lady Gaga costumes in a public high school in the middle of Ohio. Where does Kurt get all his outfits? So for me, it was like, what’s the big deal?

Are you in the Rocky Horror episode?
I’m not. No! So, I’m curious. That’s what I love about Glee, too. That’s sort of my generation, so I don’t know if the kids of this generation even know Rocky Horror, so I just love that concept.

So when does Terri come back into the fold?
I come back in episode seven, and the way it has been explained to me is that I go through the rest of the season and start to develop an agenda. Which I’m really excited about. That’s all I can say.

How about some hints. Will you be working with John Stamos, who plays Emma’s new boyfriend?
I don’t know if I’m going to be working with John Stamos, but I know there’s going to be a new character I’m working with.

Not to harp on this again, but I was disappointed that you haven’t really gotten the chance to have a big musical number yet. Even “Loser” last year was very edited down. Will we get to see Terri sing this season?
All I can tell you is that every time you’re disappointed that Terri doesn’t get to do something, I’m…a thousand-fold. (Laughs) But I appreciate your disappointment. I don’t know, I’m in such a funny position: I’m a genuine fan of the show and of my character, and at the same time it’s just a big show that is still figuring out who it is. So, the tradition that I come from is just to do my all. I do it to the best of my ability. But I don’t have any say or information about what’s coming. I don’t think anything is being withheld from me, I think they don’t know; I think they’re still finding the show. I wish I could tell you, “Yes, I’m singing,” but that would just be on my wish list.

It must be hard, especially with the ever-expanding cast, to make sure everyone is getting their fair share of screentime. Even Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison haven’t been featured as much this season.
When I step outside of it — just as an audience member — I think it’s really cool that Ryan and the writers have so much faith in the depth of the talent. Like you say, when the series started it was Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison, but in reality any of the kids can carry the show.

Can I ask your opinion of the recent GQ photo controversy?
I don’t have a problem with the GQ thing because they’re actors — I mean, they are adults. I don’t have a problem that. And I’m sure Cory doesn’t have a problem either, looking at the photos.

Do you think the show is too risque? I know that’s been a common complaint this season, especially with regards to Brittany and Santana fooling around in bed.
I have a lot of faith in Ryan, I don’t think he does anything. That whole thing — I don’t know for a fact, but I have worked with Ryan long enough to know that these are his kids. So while that might be sensational now, it’s going to come back. There will be a story to it and it will be explored. Things that seem titillating now aren’t just titillating. Plus, I feel like sexuality is a pretty big part of being a teenager, so I just feel like it’s more keeping with the times and honest about how kids are right now. I think, even with the shock value, Glee is really responsible.

With all the media coverage, the ratings, the albums — has it sunk in just how big of a phenomenon Glee has become?
No. I don’t think I’ve really grasped how big the show is. I don’t know that it’s something you’ll really get your hands around. For me, for many years now, people have said a few times a week, “Hey, were you on?” or, “Why do I know you?” I’ve sort of been vaguely recognized. Now when people speak to me it’s like, “I know that you know that I know who you are.” There’s no preamble. It’s like “Don’t come in here and act like I don’t know who you are.” It’s almost like a joke that I didn’t realize how big it was — it’s amazing.

And the profile will only get bigger with the post-Super Bowl episode airing early next year. Do you have any preference on which artist gets highlighted that night?
Um, Terri. Or…

No, I’m sorry a musical artist.
(Laughs) Oh! Is there music on this show? I know they have these musical interludes. Isn’t there one person who recently said they wouldn’t give their music?

There were two bands: Kings of Leon and Gorillaz.
That they wouldn’t?

Yes. I think that’s more of a ploy to get their band name out there, because why would Glee be asking Gorillaz for their music? Like Ryan Murphy really needs “Clint Eastwood” or something.
That’s what I’m trying to figure out. That’s sorta of like me saying, Glee can’t use my music. Even though I don’t have any music.

You should do that — it would create many, many Internet headlines.
Don’t even ask, guys. Don’t come to me.

Glee Cast Answers Questions

Thursday, October 28, 2010

Latest Semi-Spoiler from TV Guide Magazine (October 27th)

What's coming up on Glee's November 9 episode that is so big and top-secret that creator Ryan Murphy sat the whole cast down to tell them to keep their mouths shut? We'll find out mid-way through this Kurt-centric episode, titled "Never Been Kissed."

"It's so big that we had a full meeting about it that we can't say anything," says Chris Colfer (Kurt). "That's never happened before. I will say it's about Kurt."

When he read the reveal in his script, Chris went through a rollercoaster of feelings. "At first I was very surprised," he says, "And then I thought, 'This is so terrific.' It's going to send a whole other message to the world."

Since this episode features a game of spin-the-bottle and introduces actor Darren Criss as Blaine, a new gay character from a rival glee club, are we talking about a boy-on-boy kiss? "Maybe," says Chris. "It leads you to believe that...but maybe something else happens that's even bigger. Don't let the title lead you the wrong way. The title of the episode has nothing to do with Kurt."

Video: Glee Stars On Set During Lunch Break

The talented Glee Stars are seen hanging out on their lunch breaks here.

Darren Criss: Blaine is an 'Out and Proud' Student

"He's kind of an out-and-proud student... I really hope he ends up being a really positive role model and source of strength for a lot of people, gay or straight - for any teen, really.

[Blaine's] a guy that [has] seen some hardship and where we meet him he's a very strong, collected guy, and he's really analyzed the things that have happened to him and has defined himself because of those things and a lot of the struggle that other characters go through, he's found a way to empower himself through that. Having a character like that show up where we are in the show and where we are in our society is pretty cool."

Eonline's New Spoilers For Upcoming Episodes

WHAT LIES AHEAD

Meet The New Gleek: We recently had the privilege of chatting with Darren Criss, who is your soon-to-be favorite new face on television. He is darling, and we can't wait for you to meet him. Check back tomorrow for our exclusive interview with Darren, and start on your couple names for Blaine and Kurt, if you wish. We like Burt.

Lots o' Returns: Darren's debut episode also marks the return of Sunshine (Charice), Coach Beiste (Dot Jones) and the dearly missed Puck. We assume that the return of Sunshine means we will also see more of the new Vocal Adrenaline coach, played by the one and only Cheyenne Jackson. And if that picture tells us anything, it looks like Puck's return also gives us a Motown number. It's important to note that this episode is called "Never Been Kissed," and rumor has it, a game of spin the bottle might be happening.

Come Back Puck: There is one will-he/won't-he return that has been the source of speculation: Mark Salling. Be it because of backstage drama or conflicts with Mark's solo album, our beloved Puck has been noticeably absent. And it's time to set the record straight on whether he's being ousted or not. Thankfully, we checked in with a high-ranking source who works on the show, and we needn't worry anymore. "Mark is fine, and on the show," says the source. "Secure. A series regular, like before." Insiders confirm that there have been some issues (both contractual and otherwise) regarding Mark's music career and his Glee commitments, but we're told everything is being worked out. Puck/Mark will be back in the next new episode.

Glee Flashback Preview: Also, we know that Glee will be doing a flashback episode that takes us back to the childhood of the members of New Directions. The mini-Rachel Berry will be played by Lauren Boles, and her IMDB page has the cutest picture of her and Lea Michele! As for mini-Finn, Jake Vaughn and his adorable smile will be playing the younger version of Rachel's one and only. And for you die-hard Finchel fans, Star-kidz.net has a picture of young Finn and young Rachel together. Très precious! That episode is set for Nov. 16.

'Tis the Season: And by now you also know that our Glee gang will be releasing a Christmas album, which you can pre-order right here! Best. Stocking stuffer. Ever. That will surely make your holidays all the more cheery. Especially when you see that Chris and Darren have a cute little duet that hopefully comes straight from the Christmas-themed episode of Glee, which airs Dec. 7. Can't wait that long? Sneak a peek of "Last Christmas" by Lea and Cory. Happy early holidays indeed!

Mark Salling's 'Pipe Dreams' tracks on 'Glee': 'It'd never happen'

Puck sure knows how to party. Zap2it was invited to "Glee" star Mark Salling's "Pipe Dreams" record release celebration at MyHouse in Hollywood, hosted by Xomad's BBM Lounge.

Salling, sporting Puck's recently missing mohawk again, took to the stage and performed two songs from his new album. But if you want to get a listen, you're going to have to pick up the record, because he definitely won't be performing any of his original songs on "Glee." Ever.

"Never in a million years," Salling laughed when we suggested it. "Just trust me. It'd never happen."

Salling, who has previously released a solo album under the name Jericho, says that the new record isn't much of a departure for him. Like with his first album, he played all the instruments on Pipe Dreams. That doesn't mean that a few things aren't different now that "Glee" has become a cultural phenomenon.

"My music hasn't changed," he says. "It's still the same sound, the same influences. The only thing that's changed, the only thing that there is to be a little nervous about, I guess, is the politics of it all."

None of Salling's fellow Gleeks made it to the party -- we hear that several of them were filming into the night - but celebs like Quentin Aaron from "The Blind Side" and "Dancing With the Stars" Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Karina Smirnoff were in the house, and we had a great time hearing Salling play his own music instead of covering old favorites.

Christmas album news: Kurt duets with boyfriend?

Just as "Glee" is about to air its Halloween "Rocky Horror Picture Show"-themed episode, we're hearing news about another big holiday.

The "Glee" Christmas album, featuring covers of 12 holiday classics, will be released on Nov. 16, it was announced Tuesday, Oct. 26.

The track listings are making us giddy, for two reasons especially: a) k.d. lang will be joining in the merriment on "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch," and b) According to EW, it looks like Darren Criss and Chris Colfer sing the flirtatious duet "Baby It's Cold Outside."

Not only is that our (okay, this reporter's) favorite holiday song ever, but it also won a best original song Oscar. Chemistry and playfulness are key to the song's effectiveness, with "The Wolf" role usually going to the lover who's closing in, and "The Mouse" role to the one who's being pursued. Hmm, wonder which role Kurt will have?

Here's the full track listing:

1. We Need A Little Christmas
2. Deck The Rooftop
3. Merry Christmas Darling
4. Baby, It's Cold Outside
5. The Most Wonderful Day Of The Year
6. Last Christmas
7. God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
8. O Christmas Tree
9. Jingle Bells
10. You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch
11. Angels We Have Heard On High
12. O Holy Night

The actual "Glee" holiday episode will air on Dec. 7.

'Glee' writer admits script anxiety

Brennan, who also executive produces the show, told the New York Times that he is often worried about his deadlines.

"The big learning curve has been figuring out how to deal with the anxiety," he said. "You have a script deadline and this enormous operation depending on you and - sorry! - you have no ideas."

However, Brennan explained that writing lines for Jane Lynch, who plays Sue Sylvester, comes naturally to him.

"It honestly just kind of flows out, kind of in aria form, and I have to whittle the writing down to something usable," he said. "It's just the mean things that pop into the back of your mind that you sometimes want to say but don't. The difference is that Sue actually says it."

Brennan also confessed that he sometimes uses his fellow executive producer Ryan Murphy for inspiration, saying: "Sometimes if I get stuck I'll think, 'What would Ryan say in one of his really mean moments?'"

Another ''The Rocky Horror Glee Show' Sneak Peek

Jane Lynch Weighs In GQ's "Glee" Photos

Jane Lynch is weighing in on the controversial GQ photos that feature her "Glee" costars.

The actress, who plays sharp-tongued cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester on the Fox series, discussed the sexy pictures that Lea Michele, Dianna Agron and Cory Monteith posed for in the November issue of the magazine.

"They were pretty racy," Lynch told Extra on Sunday, tactfully adding, "I think whenever you put a woman scantily clad in underwear, it makes a lot of other girls and women feel badly about themselves, so it should be done with great consciousness."

She also added that she hopes "young girls aren't reading GQ," according to the report.

Fans were treated to shirts with "I did the Time Warp with Glee" adorning the front, and the ability to laugh sing and dance along with about a hundred or so of their fellow freaks.

New spoilers from TV Guide...

You've heard that comedy legend Carol Burnett is guest starring on Fox's Glee as Sue Sylvester's mother. And now here are your first details about the character and the exciting news that brings her to town during November sweeps. Looking to steal some of the glory away from the over-the-top wedding Kurt's planning for his dad and Finn's mom (think doves and glitter!), Sue (Jane Lynch) announces to the school that she, too, is getting married. To whom, you ask? All I'll say is that it's the only person Sue views as her equal.

Then Carol breezes in as mama Doris Sylvester. "She and I sing a duet, 'Why, Oh Why, Oh Why, Did I Leave Ohio' from [the Broadway musical] Wonderful Town," reveals Jane, explaining that Sue's mom and dad abandoned her in Ohio so she could take care of disabled sister Jean while they took off hunting Nazis. "I guess all the Nazis have been caught, so Mother comes back — but there's still a lot of resentment. We're going to see another level of Sue's vulnerability. This has a lot to do with why Sue is so mean." As for working with Carol, "I'm a little nervous, but I can't wait to get in scenes with her," Jane says. "It's like playing tennis with a master."

Lea Michele Wants More Glee Solos

Lea Michele reportedly wants more solos on 'Glee' and is allegedly unhappy her character is receiving less attention in the second series.

Lea Michele is reportedly upset she is being given fewer solos on 'Glee'.

The 24-year-old actress - who plays uptight singer Rachel Berry in the musical TV show - is angry the second series has focused less on her and more on other characters.

A source said: "In the beginning, she was the biggest star. But some of the biggest episodes have taken attention away from her, like the Britney Spears show, which was all about Heather Morris (Brittany).

"She thinks that because she has a Broadway background, this show was made for her."

Lea has allegedly been critical about some of the efforts of her co-stars - which include Amber Riley, Chris Colfer and Dianna Agron -leading to friction on set.

The source added to Britain's Star magazine: "It's not easy being around Lea on set. She has put several people's backs up and it's showing no sign of improving."

Lea has previously admitted working on 'Glee' helped boost her self-confidence about her looks.

She said: "'Glee' has made me feel beautiful. It has shown me that I am beautiful, that I can be beautiful no matter what I look like, what my weight is."

Mark Salling Says The Guys Are Going To Be Power Rangers!

Forget the Rocky Horror Picture Show! This Halloween, the boys from Glee are dressing up to kick butt!

Lea Michele To Make Film Debut with Zac Efron and Justin Bieber!

Lea Michele is in talks to star in the ensemble romantic comedy New Years Eve, which will be the follow up to this year’s Valentine’s Day, according to E!

The film has not yet been green-lit, but director Garry Marshall (Pretty Women, The Princess Diaries) wants Lea “big-time.”

Other actors that Garry is going after for the film include Zac Efron, Reese Witherspoon, Halle Berry, and teen superstar Justin Bieber.

Jane Lynch 'Felt Difference' Immediately After Marriage

Jane Lynch left Sue Sylvester's wardrobe of tracksuits back on the 'Glee' set and instead dons a leopard print robe while surrounded by male models for her spread in the November issue of More magazine, where she sounds off on her hit FOX show and her marriage to Lara Embry.

The Emmy-winning actress was already committed to two other series (Starz's 'Party Down' and an ABC project) when she was offered the role of Sue on 'Glee.' Believe it or not, this meant that for the first four episodes of the series, Lynch's status was temporary. "We were keeping our fingers crossed that I got to stay," she says.

At 50, Lynch also reflects on her recent marriage: "I shouldn't say this, but I'd never dated anyone that I wanted to marry. I didn't think it was going to be out there for me. But the minute we were married, I felt the difference: I felt like I am no longer alone."

On meeting Ms. Right: Lynch met her wife, Lara Embry, last year at a lesbian rights fundraiser. A week after meeting, Lynch flew to Sarasota, Florida, where Embry lived. Just before takeoff, Lynch called Embry and said, "We need to acknowledge how courageous both of us are that I'm coming into town and you really don't know me. And I'm hopping on a plane to visit someone I really don't know. So for a moment, let's give ourselves a little pat on the back."

On becoming a stepmother: Lynch's wife has an eight-year-old daughter. When asked, 'What's it like to become a parental figure for the first time in midlife?' Lynch replies, "I haven't really done it [on a day-to-day basis] yet. I took her to school. I picked her up. I went to lunch with her. So I kind of had a test run. We're pretty darn good together."

On turning 50: "I like the equanimity that comes with my age. I don't have big highs, and I don't have big lows. Even if this job goes away tomorrow, the nonstop ambition is a thing of the past for me. I've mellowed."

'The View' takes on 'Glee' in GQ: Barbara doesn't care

Barbara Walters doesn't really care. Babs took the laissez-faire position on the photos of "Glee" stars Lea Michele and Dianna Agron, about which the Parents Television Council has raised a ferocious stink. Walters notes that Agron and Michele are both in their mid-20s and that no one forced them into their provocative poses. "I just can't get that passionate about it," she says.

And, over the objections of her co-hosts who worry that younger kids will be scarred by the photos, Walters says (hilariously, to our ears) that if a kid is resourceful enough to get his hands on the magazine, "it's probably not the first" racy picture he's seen.

Sherri Shepherd and Elisabeth Hasselbeck are indignant. In addition to being convinced that the nation's 10- and 12-year-old boys are rushing to their local 7-Elevens to sneak a peek at Rachel and Quinn in skimpy clothes, Shepherd wonders about the ethics of people who are trying to make a buck of the images of actors from a popular show about teenagers. So is Hasselbeck, who figures GQ is only trying to sell magazines. Well, yeah.

Miley Cyrus' Father Supports GLEE's GQ Pictures

Miley Cyrus's father Billy Ray is reportedly 'disappointed' by the Parents Television Council's reaction to the recent racy photos of the Glee stars.

Billy is a member of the council who have criticised the saucy pictures of Lea Michele and Dianna Agron in GQ magazine.

But according to TMZ.com the 49-year-old is not in agreement with president Tim Winter's statement that the snaps are 'borderline pedophilia'.

A source told the entertainment website that the PTC 'has recently been spending all its time attacking people rather than promoting family television'.

The council even recently criticised his own daughter Miley, 17, about a video of hers.

Dianna Agron's Brother Says Criticism Of Mag Spread Is 'Outrageous'

The brother of sexy Glee star Dianna Agron has leapt to his sister's defense in the wake of the risqué GQ magazine shoot that some have labeled "near-pornographic."

"That's so outrageous," Jason Agron told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview.

"My sister has turned down a lot of roles because she does not want to be naked. I looked at the pictures in the magazine and they're not bad at all. I trust my sister and her judgment."

The 24-year-old Glee actress apologized on her blog for causing any offense, but stuck by her decision to pose provocatively for the GQ spread.

"My sister would never take inappropriate pictures," Jason, 22, told RadarOnline.com.

Agron, along with Glee-mates Lea Michele and Cory Monteith, shot a "provocative" photo spread for GQ magazine and are featured on its November cover.

The Parents Television Council has since raised concern, saying the photos "border pedophilia."

In a statement, the council blasted Glee producers for allowing the three to participate in a "hyper-sexualized" photo spread. They said "It is disturbing that GQ, which is explicitly written for adult men, is sexualizing the actresses who play high school-aged characters on Glee in this way," they said. "It borders on pedophilia."
