Ryan Murphy Responds To Kings Of Leon Drummer's Homophobic Twitter Comments!

Ryan tells Perez Hilton what he thought about the homophobic remarks:

"Just read Nathan Followill's Tweet…in which he implied I should ‘get a manicure and buy a bra.’ Wow. That's a homophobe badly in need of some education. I'm all for manicures, don't wear a bra. Would guess most gay dudes don't. But it's telling that Nathan can reduce a group of people to a mean-spirited cliché, in a time where young gay men are killing themselves all over the country because of hatred like this.

That said, I would love to sit down with Nathan or any member of Kings and Leon, and tell them how on Glee we actually love their music, and support their artistry…but cannot condone or even laugh at their clear disdain of gay people. "

Chord Overstreet & Naya Rivera Get Cozy In Vegas

In new photos obtained by RadarOnline.com, Glee star Naya Rivera is caught holding hands and getting very close with new cast member, Chord Overstreet.

The photos were taken at The Bank nightclub in Las Vegas over the weekend where Naya was celebrating her 24th birthday and show other cast members Cory Monteith and Kevin McHale at the soiree as well, but none got cozier than Chord and Naya.

New Spoilers From Eonline!

blacksoulgleek (via Twitter): Did you see @bfalchuk tweet about Brittana? Do you know something about this? He said Gwyneth will get them together...
Yes! For you who missed it, Glee executive producer Brad Falchuk tweeted: "Brittana is on. Brittana was always on. Episode 15—and Gwyneth is the one who gets them together..." Just when I thought Gwyneth P.'s Holly Holliday character couldn't be dipped in any more magic. As I mentioned several weeks ago, Brittany and Santana are going to have "developments," and the storyline in no way has been dropped. In other news only amusing to me, I got a call from fellow E! News fellow correspondent Jason Kennedy last week asking me how I got away with saying "ball check" on the show...when I was saying the aforementioned producer's last name. Ha!
Brad Falchuk, Twitter Twitter

Karina: I am so excited for the Glee Super Bowl episode I can barely stand it! Is it gonna be as awesome as I think?
According to Darren Criss...yes, and then some! "It is just one gagillion thousand jiggawatts of pure awesome entertainment and 100 miles an hour. If it doesn't pique your interest I don't know what's going to," he says to us. "The first 10 minutes are just crazy extravaganza of bells and whistles and explosions and stuff so it's almost going to be a halftime show, except a whole episode. A lot of cool numbers, and it's going to be a lot of fun." Reserve your seat on the couch now!

Heather11 (via Twitter): Please anything on Dianna Agron on Glee! I'm devastated over the news that Quinn and Sam will break up.
You and me both, sister! But from what I understand, there is still hope for a rekindling. In other D.A. news, I'm sort of dying that there were no paparrazzi pics of her at the airport after shooting the Super Bowl ep, cause Dianna herself tells us: " I had to go straight from set at about six-thirty in the morning to the airport to fly to New York for some work, and I didn't have time if I was going to make the plane to take down my hair and my make up…If you watch the episode, you see I have this Victorian crazy hair with bows and flowers and things like that and I was running through the airport and I got stopped by security because I had too many bobby pins in my hair! I almost missed my flight!"
Chace Crawford Ramey Photo

MonicaL: Please tell me Glee will tone down the guest stars. I get Anne Hathaway, you can't say no to her, but now they have to make it stop!
Um, what about Chace Crawford, missy? For his sake, I say we let them do just one more...Chace has reportedly been talking to his buddy Matthew Morrison about wanting to do a guest spot on the show (a sketchy rumor I like so much, I'm going with it), and today I asked Gossip Girl boss Stephanie Savage if she'd be down to let Chace do a guest spot on the little Fox show. "We have never heard Chace sing or seen him dance but I think we would all love to watch him on Glee," she said. Chace is now officially number two on my wish list, behind Michael C. Hall as Rachel's dad. Who's with me?

Elle in Florida: Any scoop on Kurt and Blaine? #kurtblaineKISSalready
Just that Kurt's situation with Karofsky—you know, the bully who pushed him to transfer to the loving arms of Blaine over at Dalton—isn't over yet. Says Max Adler, who plays Karofsky, "I don't know that Dave knows that Blaine and Kurt have a little somethin'-somethin' going on, but obviously he knows [Kurt's] not at [McKinley High] anymore, and that will be brought up in the Super Bowl episode."

Lea's personal message to a sick fan

Lea Michele talks Rachel's gay dads.

As Gleeks know, Rachel Berry is the daughter of an interracial same-sex couple yet unseen on the FOX hit. But Michele has firm ideas on who she'd like to see as the duo, even if she isn't giving up the names.

"I have two people in my head, when I do the show, who are Rachel's dads," the actress reveals to Zap2it. "One is a personal friend of mine, and one is a very famous person. It's not Hugh Jackman and it's not Taye Diggs, as everybody thinks. I envision them to be a little older than people would expect."

Michele notes that when the time comes for the characters to have faces, she'll trust the choices of her "Glee" boss. "Whoever Ryan Murphy picks is amazing, and I can't wait to meet Rachel's dads. I'm just so excited about that!"

Also exciting for Michele are many of the cast members "Glee" has welcomed in its sophomore season, which includes a special post-Super Bowl episode now being filmed to air Sunday, Feb. 6.

"I really love Ashley Fink, who plays Lauren Zizes; I think she's amazing. And obviously, there's Dot-Marie (Jones), who plays Coach Beiste. She's so incredible, such an asset to the show.

"I also love that they're featuring Lauren Potter, who plays Becky Jackson," Michele adds. "I think the great thing about our show this season is that it's put a lot more focus on its regulars... Brittany (Heather Morris), Santana (Naya Rivera), Mike Chang (Harry Shum Jr.). It's featuring original cast members who might not have gotten that opportunity in the first season."

Jenna Ushkowitz Gets Cozy For Winter!

When Jenna Ushkowitz swapped coasts (East for West) to play Glee’s Tina, the New Yorker says she didn’t have much trouble adjusting to the L.A. lifestyle. “I switched over to Coffee Bean and In-N-Out Burger,” where she loves the fries, animal style. Jenna even shifted her fashion. This week in OK!, we snagged an exclusive photo shoot with the Glee star and chatted about her new style.

“In New York, I was the little-black-dress girl. When I came to California, I learned I had to put some color in my wardrobe.” But wherever she goes, there’s one thing Jenna doesn’t change about her personal style: “I like whatever I feel good in, definitely on the comfy side. I love big sweaters, leggings, boots.” So she was thrilled to show off the season’s coziest looks for OK!.

How did you feel when you got your first role on Broadway?
Five hundred kids auditioned for the role in The King and I. I was in the fourth grade and when I got it I ran around school telling all my teachers.

What was your next show?
The second time I was in Spring Awakening — that was scary.

Spring Awakening is like The Mickey Mouse Club!
I feel like it! Apparently! Lea Michele, Jon Groff, Skylar Astin.

When you got your first paycheck from Glee, what did you splurge on?
Because I was bartending before that I wanted to be frugal. But I bought my Louis [Vuitton] bag — all the girls bought Louis bags.

Which one?
The Speedy bag that I still use. I call her Layla. Naya [Rivera] named hers Lola, so I was like, “This is Layla.”

Do you ever suggest songs for Tina?
The writers are so good with that, so we try not to. But if we really want a song, we sing it around them. The writers will listen to what we like and what’s new.

Who’s been your favorite guest star?
Everybody’s been amazing. John Stamos just fit right in. He’s so fun. He’s Uncle Jesse!

2.12 Song List

Let's hope you haven't had your fill of silly love songs, because there's a colorful collection of classics — both old and new — lined up for Glee's February 8 Valentine's Day episode. "The name of the episode is 'Silly Love Songs,'" Matthew Morrison (Will) tells me. "My assignment to the kids is to have them perform love songs, so we're doing some fun classics that are Valentines-y."

Here, exclusively, is the full lineup of Glee's "Valentines-y" songs:

Katy Perry's "Firework," performed by Rachel (Lea Michele)

Queen's "Fat Bottomed Girls," performed by Puck (Mark Salling)

Michael Jackson's "P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)," performed by Artie (Kevin McHale)

Babes In Arms' "My Funny Valentine," performed by Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz)

Robin Thicke's "When I Get You Alone," performed by Blaine (Darren Criss) and the Warblers

And of course, Paul McCartney's "Silly Love Songs," performed by The Warblers

I'm hearing some hearts may be broken in this pivotal episode. Considering that, which Glee couple are you most rooting for?

Glee Romance Alert: Guess Who's Getting a "Little Fling?"

Looks like Mr. Schuester (Matthew Morrison), a k a last season's "manwhore" (per Jayma Mays), is finally getting some kind of lovin' in the new year—with a lady you know well.

So who is it?

Gwyneth Paltrow.

You may have heard that the initial plan for Gwyneth's first appearance on the Fox hit was for her character Holly Holliday to make Emma jealous (Ryan Murphy told me as much). And according to executive producer Brad Falchuk, that game is back on, complete with the five-letter F word.

"She's coming back for two episodes," Brad tells us of Gwyneth. "We really sort of hoped that this idea of her and Matt having a little fling during the original episode would work but we just didn't have time to finish it off, so we're glad she's coming back."

Also on the Gwynnie agenda? She will "sing and dance and be hot." You don't say!

Now, all this might sound terrifying to you diehard Will and Emma fans, especially since Jayma herself told us there isn't much hope for "Wemma" for the time being. But when asked if there's a chance the fan-favorite coupling will get together, Falchuk says: "There's more than a chance...It's Will and Emma, for God's sake!" (You gotta love the "duh!" factor in that quote. Perhaps we should stop asking? Naaah…)

If any of you are still wondering what Anne Hathaway will play when she guest stars on Glee, Falchuk confirms she will be playing a relative of Kurt's (Chris Colfer). "She came over and talked to Ryan [Murphy] about wanting to come on the show and there you have it. She had a great idea and someone like her, it's sort of hard to say no. She's gonna be Chris Colfer's lesbian aunt."

So, it's official…Gwyneth and Matty Fresh getting fresh on Glee. How do we feel about that?

Slash Doesn't Like 'Glee'

Glee may have gotten permission to feature songs by PAUL MCCARTNEY, but don't expect those high school kids to sing "Sweet Child 'o Mine" anytime soon. SLASH recently told EW.com that the show wanted to use songs from GUNS 'N ROSES but "got turned down." The guitarist also has no qualms about voicing his disdain for the popular TV show, calling Glee "worse than Grease and Grease is bad enough." He goes on to say, "Between High School Musical and Glee, Grease was a brilliant work of art."

Couple To Break Up!

We’re only a few weeks away from Glee‘s ginormous, post-Super Bowl episode airing Feb. 6, but, here at EW, we’re already thinking about the rest of season 2. There’s been a slew of fresh romances this season — Tina & Mike, Sam & Quinn, Artie & Brittany — but EW can exclusively reveal that one of those couples will be biting the dust soon. SPOILER ALERT!

The pair that will be joining Rachel and Finn as the latest New Directions exes are the show’s resident hot blonds, Sam and Quinn. Says co-creator Ryan Murphy, “I got bored. They were too perfect.” But that doesn’t mean that Sam will be on his own. “He starts dating Santana,” says Murphy. “He needs a little salsa spice.” Murphy adds that Quinn will also find comfort in the form of her old boyfriend, Finn. Shocking!

Jenna or Harry Solos?

New Spoilers from Ausiello!

Question: Got any Glee spoilers — specifically Kurt/Blaine-related? —Ami
Ausiello: It’s time for Blaine to meet the parent! Mike O’Malley told me at the Golden Globes that there’s a big episode coming up where Burt is introduced to Blaine for the first time. “It’s a great story,” he said. “I just got the script.”

Question: When, when, when will Glee‘s Kurt return to McKinley High?! I love Blaine, but need Kurt back with New Directions! —Diane
Ausiello: Chris Colfer’s on and off-screen BFF Amber Riley (Mercedes) feels your pain. “I want him to come back so bad,” she tells me. “I miss him.” Although she’s sad for herself, Riley admits the “storyline Chris is having at the other school is amazing. And I love the Warblers. I’m a big fan of their music. Maybe I should transfer over there? Mercedes could shave her head and pretend to be a boy.” Maybe save that for Season 7.

Question: Any exciting news about my favorite Glee character, Sue? —Richard
Ausiello: Her upcoming stint as a member of New Directions will be a brief one — and it sounds like that’s good news for Jane Lynch. “[Jane]‘s a little bored because the choir room scenes are always the hardest and require the longest hours,” her onscreen archenemy, Matthew Morrison, says with a chuckle. “So she’s getting a taste of what it’s like to be in the glee club and have the long hours.” Amber Riley says it’s been a rare treat working opposite her idol. “I never get to do a lot of scenes with Jane so it’s been amazing,” she gushes. “I’m still a big fan of hers. I still get nervous around her and I’ve been working with her for almost two years. To be able to have her in the choir room has been great.”

Darren Criss Wants a Date with Tina Fey

Darren Criss apparently has a thing for older women.

While walking his first Golden Globes red carpet on Sunday, the Glee actor, 23, said he would be most starstruck by his "crush" Tina Fey.

"Talk about just hilarious, beautiful, smart, talented – just awesome," Criss told PEOPLE, praising the 30 Rock star. "If I met her, I would turn into a puddle."

Criss has even considered taking the initiative to get the married Fey, 40, to go out with him.

"I would immediately ask her on a date to go mini-golfing with me," Criss said. "I just want to get some of her pixie dust on me."

Later in the evening, Criss mustered up the confidence to approach his dream woman.

"I met Darren tonight, and he told me he's a fan," Fey told PEOPLE at the InStyle and Warner Bros. Golden Globe Awards afterparty. "He was really nice."

But as a committed wife, Fey has to let Criss down gently. "I'm married, so I can't take him on a date," she said with a laugh. "But he can come on a double date with another girl and my husband and me. I love Glee."

Golden Globes Winners' Portraits!

Chris Colfer

Chris Colfer, who won the Best Supporting Actor in a Series award for his role as Kurt Hummel on Glee, knew the exact song to describe his winning moment: "'I'm So Excited' by the Pointer Sisters!"

Amber Riley and Jenna Ushkowitz

Glee’s Amber Riley (in Oliver Tolentino) and Jenna Ushkowitz (in Rebecca Taylor) had a fashion feud backstage after their show’s win for Best Series. Jokingly, of course. "We can't get too close,” Riley said. “We aren't feuding of anything, it's just that I'm wearing sequins and she's wearing that netting. If we got too close it could get nasty.”

Naya Rivera and Dianna Agron

Glee stars Naya Rivera (in Douglas Hannant) and Dianna Agron celebrated their show’s Best Series award, though Agron was unprepared to hear the show’s name called as the winner. “My dress was getting tangled in my shoes and I was thinking, 'It's ok, we're not going to win,'” Agron said of her beige silk chiffon J. Mendel gown. “I was about to take my shoes off! But to win again was amazing."

The Glee Cast

The Glee cast was a happy bunch after the show took the number one spot in the Best Television Series for Comedy or Musical category. Jayma Mays (in Alberta Ferretti), Cory Monteith (in Giorgio Armani) and Heather Morris (in Lorena Sarbu) were all smiles backstage clutching their shiny new Golden Globe.

Charice announced that she was set for at least 5 to 7 episodes on Glee.

“Before I forget, I’m going to be back on ‘Glee.’ I’ll have 5 to 7 more episodes,” she said during her concert “1@11″ in Manila.

Charice is expected to make her Glee comeback on Super Bowl episode, February 6. She is said to be performing with her fellow Vocal Adrenaline member doing a Black Eyed Peas song.

New Spoilers From EW

You all have been spoiling me with Glee scoop. Seriously. And you know what? I NEED MORE!!! — MaggieMaggie, control yourself. I have it on good word that another major Glee couple will be breaking up soonish. And really hold on to your wits for the second half of the season, because there are some pairings in there that you haven’t seen before…and might not see coming. Let’s hear your guesses below!

I Am Number Four Extended First Look Featurette

Synopis: Extraordinary teen John Smith (Pettyfer) is a fugitive on the run from ruthless enemies sent to destroy him. Changing his identity, moving from town to town with his guardian Henri (Olyphant), John is always the new kid with no ties to his past. In the small Ohio town he now calls home, John encounters unexpected, life-changing events-his first love (Agron), powerful new abilities and a connection to the others who share his incredible destiny.

Naya Rivera and Heather Morris want onscreen relationship

Naya Rivera and Heather Morris, who play Santana and Brittany in Glee respectively, have previously seen their characters share intimate moments on the show.

But now they have revealed that they would like to see the pair begin a proper relationship.

Speaking to E! Online, Rivera said: "It's so complicated. It keeps changing! I think ultimately they are best best friends, and as far as [Santana's] sexuality, that's one of the great mysteries of the show and I appreciate that. But I would like for them to maybe pick a side."

However, Morris added that Brittany's relationship with Artie (Kevin McHale) is currently an obstacle to such a storyline taking place.

"Naya and I will sit down in seats next to each other and the director will be like, 'No, you have to go sit next to Artie'. And we don't have conversations anymore. It's weird. It's weird because [Brittany] has a boyfriend now," she told the news provider.

Glee Couples Status Report! What's the Future for Your Favorites?

"Is there hope for Wemma?! What about Quick?!" Our Twitter feeds have been flooded with fans asking about Glee romances.
Don't worry, we heard you loud and clear, and went straight to the stars for the answers. Read on for the latest news on Glee's power couples—and new favorites Kurt and Blaine. Plus, who will spend Valentine's Day in...slow motion?

We cornered the men of Glee (that's the kind of sacrifice we are willing to make for you fans) yesterday at the TCA press tour to get the goods on their television love lives, and they didn't hold back. For starters, Mr. Schue is pretty darn sick of feeling jealous over Carl (John Stamos), and now it's Emma's turn!

"Carl hasn't been back yet, but you know Gwyneth Paltrow is coming back and I think her and I are going to get a little loving going on," Matthew Morrison tells us. "So it'll be my chance to show Emma up a little bit. Make her a little jealous because she's been making me really jealous lately." Understandable. Stamos is kind of a dreamboat.

Remember when Quinn and Puck had a kid? Mark Salling does, and he thinks there still might be a chance for those two crazy kids to get together. "I wouldn't rule anything out," he says. "We don't know what going on until the week before when we get the script, so who knows?" We're sure Quick fans will hold onto that little string of hope like a lifeline, right?

And now, ladies and gentlemen, your teenage dream Darren Criss has a message for those desperate for Blaine and Kurt to get together. "There's going to be some fun things. Every day Chris (Colfer) and I are both equally curious to see what's going to happen between the two of those guys," he spills to us. "We're definitely going to start seeing some layers to the two of them. The pink elephant in the room will finally be addressed, let's put it that way."

Speaking of pink, Glee has a Valentine's Day episode coming up! Kevin McHale is especially anxious for fans to see that one. "[Artie] is with Brittany [Heather Morris], and it's a very fun and cute episode," he tells us. "We get to do a lot of fun numbers. This number I get to do, I can't say [what it is] but I'm very, very excited to do it. There's slow motion! I love slow motion."
We wonder what the already slow Brittany is like in slow motion...does she just stand still? These are the important questions, Glee fans.
What do you think of the status of the love lives at McKinley High? Looking forward to some Emma jealousy? You know where to go to squee!

Cory Monteith and Dianna Agron dance for Fox 9

Matt Mitovich Scoop and Spoilers!

Glee stars have been singing… like canaries, sharing bits of intel about what’s to come when the Fox hit resumes its sophomore season on Sunday, February 6, with a special aprés-Super Bowl outing.

To cite one provocative example: Jane Lynch revealed on Wednesday that in an upcoming episode, Sue Sylvester will join New Directions for a bit, partaking in a performance number set to a song by My Chemical Romance. In fact, when we saw Jane she was prepping for a Thursday dance rehearsal with Lea Michele and others.

Of course, the word on many a Glee fan’s lips as of late is “Bieber,” as in Justin. The luminous Dianna Agron gave TVLine the inside line on how the teen crooner figures into the Valentine’s Day-themed episode airing February 15.

As we previously told you, the Beebs’ influence is felt when Sam gets it in his head that channeling the lad — bowl cut-meets-mop hairstyle and all — will appeal to Quinn. “But does it? That’s the question,” Dianna teased.

Assessing Sam’s misguided notions, Agron says, “I liken him to a golden retriever puppy. He is sweet, he can be a little dopey — in a lovable way — and sometimes his thoughts aren’t fully cooked.”

All told, “The episode stirs up some problems with them,” the actress revealed.

If Quinn’s wholesome relationship with Sam does peter out, there’s a mob of “Quick” fans hoping to see their girl reignite with babydaddy Puck. Alas, neither Agron nor Mark Salling can offers those ‘shippers much hope. Although she feels that fan base’s pain, Dianna reported, “There’s nothing [planned] right now. Nothing.” Likewise, Mark told me, “It might be a while for that.” (Instead, as scooped in Ask Ausiello, Puck is due for a hook-up with New Directions newbie Lauren.)

To hear Cory Monteith tell it — OK, speculate it — Finn might find himself having (re-)designs on Quinn, especially now that he and Rachel are on the skids. Though Cory claims to have “no idea” what’s to come for Finn and Rachel, he suspects “it’s always going to be back-and-forth between Rachel and Quinn.”

As for McKinley High’s other romances:

* Matthew Morrison is “really looking forward” to Gwyneth Paltrow’s announced encore as Holly Holiday, who comes back as a sex ed teacher (“We’ll see what that entails,” Matt smiled). Might a date or two with Holly rouse Emma’s feelings for Will? Oh yeah. “She’s done enough of making me jealous [with John Stamos' Carl], that I am looking forward to making her a little jealous now,” Morrison says.

* Will’s ex-wife also stands to lose with Gwyn’s return, hammering yet another nail into that crumbled marriage’s coffin and leaving Teri with zero other options. “Going up against an Oscar winner is so unfair!” Jessalyn Gilsig faux-laments. “Give a girl a chance!”

* Harry Shum Jr. says that Mike (aka Other Asian) and Tina are “going good, though there are some ups and downs — ‘Asian romance obstacles’ — that are fun to explore.” Interestingly, Harry teases that while Tina/Mike may come across as a purely physical relationship, “You soon will see that it’s not entirely like that.”

* “So far, so good” is how Kevin McHale sums up things with Artie and Brittany, one of MHS’ most unlikely hook-ups. “Right now, everybody’s happy. When he was with Tina it was super-hardcore drama, so it’s fun to play this while we can.”

* Though Naya Rivera has nothing to tease about Santana and Brittany, her sometimes Sapphic sister, she was game to speculate on what lies beneath Santana’s Cheerios uniform, especially since an upcoming storyline might require her to strip down to her unmentionables: “I’m thinking red, and I’m thinking lace.”

3 Minutes - feat. Harry Shum Jr & Stephen 'tWitch' Boss

Lea Michele Never Meant to Hurt Young 'True Grit' Star

Earlier this month, we reported about 14-year-old, SAG Nominee Hailee Steinfeld being majorly let down by Lea Michele when the 'Glee' starlet refused to sign an autograph. In an interview with J-14 Magazine, Hailee described the snub as one of her most embarrassing moments.

But Gossip Cop discovered that one key part of the story was omitted. It was not Lea Michele who "dissed" the talented 'True Grit' star. It was actually a production assistant, whose premiere role on set was to keep the show's tenacious fans at bay.

Even though Lea wasn't at fault for Hailee's letdown, she still feels bad. "I heard Hailee was upset and feel terrible," she said. "The 'Glee' schedule is so jam-packed that the PA probably pulled me so that I wouldn't be late to set. I never meant to hurt her feelings. She's an extraordinary talent and I look forward to meeting her one day."

That sounds more like the girl who brings life to Rachel Berry Tuesday nights. That said, someone should find out if Hailee can sing. Lea could pull some strings and bring the 'True Grit' talent to McKinley High!

Brad Responds to Themed Episode Rumor

Brad Falchuk says some people have jumped the gun on the planned Justin Bieber episode of "Glee."

And he should know.

As an executive producer and creator of the hugely popular Tuesday FOX show -- along with Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan -- Falchuk was in from the start on talks about incorporating the teen star's music into an upcoming episode.

"It was so crazy over the weekend," Falchuk tells Zap2it. "We're not doing a Bieber tribute episode. It was never the idea to do a Bieber tribute episode. We went in and broke this story about Sam's (Chord Overstreet) relationship with Quinn (Dianna Agron). He's trying to juice that up and impress her, and he decides to sing to her ... because that's what people do on 'Glee.'

"In his way of seeing the world, and his hair, Sam decides to do a Bieber song ... and that's really the extent of it. A lot of the other guys are sort of impressed by that, so they want to get involved. And that's it.

"We do stuff like that all the time, for many different artists," Falchuk adds, "but if you're a reporter and you put 'Glee' and 'Bieber' in your story, you're going to get a lot of traffic. I think people got a little ahead of themselves. By the time the episode airs, this will have died down, but I think we've earned a certain level of trust with the audience that we're not going to sell out just yet."

While production continues on the post-Super Bowl "Glee" episode to air Sunday, Feb. 6, Falchuk also is looking forward to the two-show return appearance by Gwyneth Paltrow -- also singing on movie screens now in "Country Strong" -- as teacher Holly Holliday later this season.

"We fell in love with that character as we wrote it and as she did what she did with it," he says, "and it's obviously easy to love her. She's incredible, and she and Matt [Morrison] had great chemistry. Our original intention was for those characters to have a relationship, but we couldn't really make it work unless it was in sequential episodes.

"If you watch that first episode, that's obviously being cultivated, so it's perfect that she was available for more. It's a gift."

Ryan Murphy: Are we getting the whole story?

"Glee" head honcho Ryan Murphy seems to have a different way of keeping his secrets, though. As opposed to dropping the old "no comment," Murphy has developed a bit of a reputation for ... well, misleading the press -- and, in turn, the fans.

When it was reported recently that "Glee" would be doing a Justin Bieber-centric episode this spring, Murphy was quick to refute the claims. "Glee is not doing a Justin Bieber tribute episode. We are not doing any more of those this season," he said. "We are doing an episode where Sam sings a JB song to win Quinn back, and copies his hairstyle. But it's a small part of a big episode."

Despite Murphy's statement, insiders say that Bieber's presence in the episode is more than Murphy lets on. Deadline says that three Bieber songs are featured, and producer Brad Falchuk tells Zap2it that after Sam sings a Bieber song to Quinn, "A lot of the other guys are sort of impressed by that, so they want to get involved."

So while it may not be a tribute episode per-se, Murphy's claim that only one Bieber song is used may also be misleading.

It's not the first time the media has been "confused" by Murphy's statements. In July, Murphy told the press that he had plans to keep Rachel and Finn together as a couple for most of Season 2.

"Rachel and Finn kind of broke up twice," he said. "Let's keep them together, these two very different people, and let's really see how -- in an entire season, with no breakups -- what does that couple look like at the end of that season?"

Of course, Rachel and Finn broke up in the first half of Season 2, disappointing hopeful fans of the couple. We're sure Murphy didn't have pans for the entire season locked down when he spoke up in July, but it's a good example of a time when saying too little may have been preferable to saying too much.

The bottom line is, pretty much, not to believe anything about "Glee" until it happens on your screen on Tuesday nights. We should have learned our lesson when reports leaked that Kurt's new boyfriend would be a "big blond quarterback" as Jane Lynch put it. The big blond quarterback (Sam) turned out to be a bit of a gay herring, if you will. It's possible that he was initially cast to be Kurt's love interest, but thus far, he's decidedly straight.

Spoilers From EOnilne's Kristin

Heather: How about something good on Glee? Finn and Rachel, Will and Emma or the Super Bowl episode? The Biebs? I'll take anything!
Well the best news for all you who were panicked by the Justin Bieber episode (and still haven't heard) is that it's not happening, at least not now. Also good news: I'm still told that Finn and Rachel and Will and Emma are the endgame. You just, um, might not be super-duper-over-the-moon happy for the time being. "We can't make it easy!" a well-placed source who works on the show tells me, adding that the fans would get "bored." Agree? As for the Super Bowl episode, I just caught up with Amber Riley, who says it's "really big. They pulled out all the stops for it. There's going to be some kind of like maybe some circus acts going on. We're doing ‘Thriller.' We're doing a little bit of an homage to Michael Jackson, so we're doing a little bit of ‘Thriller,' and it's really good. We've got some zombie makeup, and it's gonna be a big one." Check out this sneak-peek photo for proof that your favorite Gleeks don't look so bad undead!

@BeyondStarlight (via Twitter): Glee?
Looks like we might be getting a flashback to Rachel Berry's coming of age; producers are casting for a clutch of 12- to 14-year-old Jewish girls to appear in a bat mitzvah scene.

New Spoilers From TV Guide

Glee's Thriller of a Super Bowl Episode
Finn (Cory Monteith) fills in for the late Vincent Price to provide the spooky narration for the Fox hit's Super Bowl-episode Thriller tribute. "I'm also one of the zombie folk, which requires about three and a half hours of prosthetic makeup," says Cory. And it sounds as though Artie may be making some progress with those animatronic leg braces he unveiled in the Christmas episode. Asked who plays the Michael Jackson role, Cory said, "The episode is pretty centered around Artie, who does a lot of singing." Thrilling!
